BIO
Judith Weikle was born and raised in rural Michigan and currently resides in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Upon graduating from the University of Hawai'i at Hilo, with a BA in Music, Ms. Weikle began the pursuit of Celtic Music in earnest.
Drawing from her Irish/Scottish and Appalachian Heritage, Judith collects and sings Traditional Celtic Repertoire. Recently, Judith was honored with a 2006 Individual Artist Development Grant in the Traditional Folk Arts Category from the Wyoming Arts Council. In addition to performing regionally at various Celtic Cultural Events and other concert venues, Ms Weikle is busy promoting her Debut CD: Pirates, Poets and Patriots.
